The county has contacted Bowie about having “filed with the state” proposing a gasification plant in the Delta County area. The county says that Bowie is “aware of the Specific Development Regulation process in Delta County.” This means that the project must undergo a complete local review which includes the North Fork Area Planning Commission, the Delta County Planning Commission, the Delta County Board of County Commissioners, and, of course, the citizens of Delta County.
