JOANN KALENAK, DCCR BLOGGER — Most Delta County government staff received an average 3.8 percent raise in 2023 save for the County Attorney whose salary jumped 14.5 percent. County Commissioner salary increases automatically every two years and in 2023, Delta County Commissioners saw an approximate 3 percent raise. The County Sheriff received an appreciable increase but not compared to the Assessor who saw a 25 percent increase. Salary ranges for elected officials are set by the state.
