- Commissioners appointed Mike Ludlow to the Delta County Oil and Gas Working Group.
Mike is a member is the Coal and Coalbed Methane Working Group and is a manager for Oxbow Mining Company.
- Paonia resident Dave Bradford presented commissioners with the town’s plan to sell memorial plaques on two walls around the Miner’s Memorial in Paonia Town Park. The Town of Paonia is currently accepting orders for memorial dedications, to be carved in granite. Funds raised from the plaque fees will go toward the $25,000 price tag for the project. Memorials are intended to commemorate those who contributed to or support development of the North Fork Valley, the community, industry, and Paonia Town Park. Only the names of individuals or entities will be allowed on the wall and all submissions must be approved by the Town of Paonia.
